Following a circular by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), IPS Parul Gupta has been repatriated to her parent cadre in Odisha. Ms. Gupta, a 2010-batch Odisha cadre IPS officer, was last posted as a Deputy Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB).
The order from MHA read, “The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs for repatriation of Ms. Parul Gupta, IPS (OD:2010), Deputy Director, Intelligence Bureau, to her cadre with immediate effect.“
