The experience highlighted the importance of combining ONGC’s domestic operational expertise with international technical support during challenging well control situations.

The latest partnership further strengthens the relationship between the two organisations and creates a framework for future cooperation in safety and emergency response.

Strengthening Global Safety Standards at ONGC

As part of the collaboration, ONGC will benchmark its well control and safety systems against global standards.

The partnership will support:

  • Improved operational reliability
  • Faster emergency response mechanisms
  • Enhanced workforce safety
  • Better protection of assets and the environment

ONGC aims to continuously upgrade its safety practices by integrating advanced technologies and learning from international experts.

Commitment Towards Safer Energy Production

The agreement reflects ONGC’s continued focus on operational excellence, safety innovation, and sustainable energy production.

By collaborating with a globally recognised well control specialist, ONGC intends to create a more resilient emergency management framework capable of addressing future challenges in the oil and gas sector.
