IAS officer P. Hemalatha, currently posted as Development Commissioner, Cochin SEZ, has been given additional charge of the post of Secretary (JS Level), Spices Board, for six months. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (07.01.2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Commerce for entrustment of an additional charge of the post to Ms. Hemalatha for six months w.e.f. 24.10.2024 or till the appointment of a regular incumbent to the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
