Patna: The Patna Mindfest 2026 will bring together students from across the city for two days of quizzes, creative writing and word-based competitions on August 26 and 27 at the auditorium of the Chandragupta Institute of Management, Patna.
Organised under the auspices of the IAS Association, Bihar, with active participation from Extra C, the event aims to provide students with a platform to test their knowledge, creativity and problem-solving skills.
Quiz and Creative Writing on Day One
The first day will feature General Quiz, India Quiz and Creative Writing competitions. Creative Writing will be conducted in both English and Hindi, giving participants an opportunity to showcase their writing skills in their preferred language.
Preliminary screening rounds will be held for the quiz competitions. However, there will be no preliminary screening for Creative Writing, allowing all interested participants to take part directly.

Word Bee and Crossword on Day Two
The concluding day will focus on language and word-based challenges, with participants competing in Word Bee and Crossword.
These competitions will test participants’ vocabulary, reasoning, attention to detail and ability to solve problems under competitive conditions. Preliminary screening rounds will be conducted wherever applicable.
Schools Across Patna Invited
The organisers have sent invitations and information to almost all schools in Patna. Participation is expected to be strong, continuing the encouraging response seen in previous editions of the event.
The festival will provide students with an opportunity to compete beyond the regular classroom environment while interacting with peers from different schools.
Cash Prizes and Recognition
Top performers in each segment of Patna Mindfest will receive cash prizes, gift hampers and certificates of recognition.
The awards are intended to recognise students who demonstrate excellence across knowledge, creativity and word-based competitions.
The programme will begin at 9:30 AM on August 26 at the CIMP auditorium, with the competitions continuing through August 27.
