New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Rathin Mitra for the post of Director (Personnel) at Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), a Schedule B public sector enterprise. The recommendation was made during a selection meeting held on October 27, 2026, following interviews with 12 candidates for the Board-level position.
Mitra is currently serving as General Manager (Coordination) at Coal India Limited (CIL). Following the selection process, PESB recommended his name for the senior management position at WCL.

Role and Responsibilities of Director (Personnel) at WCL
