New Delhi: Punjab National Bank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board to provide customized salary account services and concessional personal loan facilities to the board’s employees.
The agreement aims to enhance employee banking benefits while strengthening the bank’s institutional business presence.
MoU Signed in Presence of Senior Officials
The MoU was formally signed by PNB Circle Head Jammu, Pankaj Kumar Verma, and Additional CEO of SMVDSB, Alok Kumar Maurya (IFS), during a ceremony attended by senior officials from both organisations.
Customized Banking Services for Employees
Under the partnership, employees of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board will receive:
- Customized salary account facilities
- Concessional interest rates on personal loans
- Enhanced banking support services
The initiative is expected to improve financial convenience for employees and streamline salary-related banking operations.
Strengthening Institutional Banking Network
This collaboration is part of PNB’s broader strategy to expand its institutional banking portfolio. The tie-up also reflects the bank’s focus on offering tailored financial solutions to government and institutional employees.
The MoU is expected to create a mutually beneficial arrangement by improving employee banking benefits while strengthening institutional ties between PNB and SMVDSB.
