Dehradun: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has signed an addendum to its existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Uttarakhand to extend the Central Government Salary Package (CGSP) benefits to regular employees of the state government. The move is aimed at providing government employees with enhanced banking services, insurance protection, and exclusive financial benefits under the salary package.
PNB Signs Addendum to MoU with Uttarakhand Government
The addendum to the MoU was signed by Anupam, Zonal Manager, PNB Dehradun, and Smt. Amita Joshi, Director, Treasury, Government of Uttarakhand. The signing ceremony was also attended by Abhinandan Singh, Circle Head, PNB Dehradun, along with other senior officials from the bank and the state government.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally exchanged between Amita Joshi, Director, Treasury, Pensions & Entitlements, and Anupam, Zonal Head, PNB Uttarakhand, further strengthening the partnership between the public sector bank and the Uttarakhand Government.

Alongside the signing of the addendum, senior officials from Punjab National Bank and the Government of Uttarakhand held productive discussions on Treasury integration and the adoption of the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
