Through a circular issued by the Department of Home Affairs and Justice on June 21st, the government of Punjab mandated the transfer of one IPS and one Punjab Police Service (PPS) officer.
Mr. Abhimanyu Rana (2018-batch Punjab cadre IPS officer), presently posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) of Ludhiana, was made ADCP of Amritsar, replacing Mr. Prabhjot Singh (PPS officer), who instead was transferred as the ADCP of Ludhiana.
