Gurugram: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Power, is observing Swachhata Pakhwada across its offices nationwide with a series of cleanliness drives and awareness activities aimed at promoting a cleaner and greener India.
The initiative reflects the organisation’s continued commitment to environmental cleanliness, workplace hygiene, and community awareness.
Employees Take Swachhata Pledge
As part of the campaign, employees of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited took the Swachhata Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining cleanliness in workplaces, residential areas, and daily life practices.
A large-scale cleanliness drive was also conducted across office premises and surrounding areas to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
Awareness Drive Through Nukkad Natak
To spread awareness among the public, a street play (Nukkad Natak) was organised, highlighting the importance of hygiene, waste management, and environmental responsibility.
The activity aimed to engage citizens and encourage behavioural change towards better sanitation practices.
Leadership Participation at Gurugram Corporate Centre
The cleanliness drive at the Corporate Centre, Gurugram, witnessed active participation from senior leadership. The event was attended by:
