Amidst a recent development, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) issued transfer and posting orders in the grade of Principal Chief Commissioner/Principal Director General/Chief Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes, of which one is a Principal Chief Commissioner, and the rest are Chief Commissioners of Customs and Indirect Taxes.
Mr. Gaigongdin Panmei (1989 batch IRS-C&IT officer), on return from deputation, was mandated to assume charge as the Principal Chief Commissioner of NACIN in Palasamudram.
Mr. Madur Sreedhar Reddy (1991-batch IRS-C&IT officer) was granted an in-situ promotion as the Chief Commissioner of CGST Zone in Bhubaneswar.
Mr. Sanjay Rathi (1991-batch IRS-C&IT officer) was also granted an in-situ promotion as the Chief Commissioner of CGST Zone in Visakhapatnam.
