New Delhi: State-owned manganese mining giant MOIL Limited has achieved a new monthly production record, registering its highest-ever July output in FY 2025-26. The company produced 1.45 lakh tonnes of manganese ore in July 2025—marking a 12% increase over the corresponding period last year (CPLY), despite operational challenges posed by heavy rainfall.
Robust Performance Across Key Metrics
MOIL continued its strong performance through the April–July period of FY26. The PSU produced 6.47 lakh tonnes of manganese ore—up 7.8% year-on-year. Sales during the same period stood at 5.01 lakh tonnes, reflecting a 10.7% growth over the previous year.
In a significant boost to resource mapping, the company also completed 43,215 meters of exploratory drilling—an 11.4% increase compared to the same period last year.
