The National Power Training Institute (NPTI) and Power Trading Corporation (PTC) India Ltd have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). According to this MoU, there will be a establishment of Centre of Excellence ( CoE) for Research and Development (R&D) in the Energy Domain.
The main focus of this initiative will be on promoting sustainable development goals. The outcome of CoE through R&D endeavour will be diffused into the power sector through training and capacity building.
The MoU was officially signed on 28 March, 2024 in the office of the Ministry of Power located in New Delhi, by Director General, NPTI, Dr. Tripta Thakur and Senior Vice President Human Resources (HR), PTC India Ltd., Ms. Koel Singhal, on behalf of Chief Managing Director (CMD), PTC India Ltd., Dr. Rajib K Mishra; in the presence of Secretary, Ministry of Power, Government of India, Mr. Pankaj Agarwal.
