Mumbai: RailTel Corporation of India Limited has reported a strong financial performance for the fourth quarter of FY26, ending March 31, 2026, with sharp growth in both revenue and profitability driven by higher project execution and telecom services demand.

The Navratna PSU, which provides telecom and broadband services to Indian Railways, delivered robust sequential growth across key financial indicators.

Strong Q4 FY26 Financial Performance

RailTel posted significant quarter-on-quarter growth in Q4 FY26:

  • Total Income: ₹1,308.28 crore (↑ 70.43% QoQ)
  • Net Profit (PAT): ₹113.45 crore (↑ 74.40% QoQ)
  • Operating Profit: ₹131.82 crore (↑ 74.43% QoQ)
  • Operating Margin: 10.08%

The strong performance reflects improved execution in project segments and increased contribution from telecom services.

Growth Driven by Telecom and Project Execution

The company attributed its performance to:

  • Higher execution of government and railway projects
  • Strong demand for telecom infrastructure services
  • Improved conversion from its existing order book
  • Expansion of fibre optic network services

RailTel continues to play a key role in India’s digital connectivity ecosystem, particularly in railway and government-led digital initiatives.

Dividend Consideration for FY26

The Board of Directors is expected to review and recommend a final dividend for FY 2025–26 along with the approval of audited annual results.

Earlier in the financial year, RailTel had already declared two interim dividends of ₹1 per share each, reflecting steady shareholder returns.

Market Outlook and Investor Focus

Following the strong quarterly results, RailTel shares are expected to attract investor attention. Market analysts will closely track:

  • Full-year FY26 financial performance
  • Order book strength and pipeline visibility
  • Future growth guidance from management
  • Post-results earnings call scheduled for May 1, 2026
