New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Limited has received a ₹14.09 crore work order from the Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (UPUMS) for the implementation and operation of an Enhanced Hospital Information Management System (HIMS).
The domestic IT project involves a five-year, outcome-linked Enhanced HIMS implementation and Pay-Per-Use operations programme. The work order was received by RailTel on September 21, 2026, with the project scheduled for completion by September 28, 2031.
The order value stands at ₹14,09,38,080, including taxes, according to the company’s regulatory disclosure.
RailTel to Implement Enhanced Hospital Information Management System
Under the programme, RailTel will undertake the implementation and subsequent operations of an Enhanced HIMS for UPUMS.
The project has been structured as a single, committed five-year programme, linking the implementation and operational components under one contract.
The Pay-Per-Use model will form part of the operational framework, allowing the hospital information management system to be operated under the agreed programme structure over the five-year period.
The project is expected to support the university’s digital hospital management requirements through an integrated information management system.
