Ruchi Singh hails from Mahendrapur village in the Matihani block of Begusarai district in Bihar.

Her strong academic foundation and consistent efforts played a key role in her success in the highly competitive UPSC examination.

Professional Experience

Before clearing the UPSC Civil Services Examination, Ruchi Singh was already serving in a government role.

She is currently working as a BSC-qualified officer at the DPR Office in Lakhisarai, Bihar.

A total of 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment to prestigious services including:

• Indian Administrative Service (IAS)

• Indian Foreign Service (IFS)

• Indian Police Service (IPS)

• Central Services Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’

This year, Anuj Agnihotri from Kota, a doctor by profession, secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the examination.

Rajeshwari Suve M and Akanksha Dhull secured the second and third ranks, respectively.
