Following her retirement, the state government has assigned her the responsibility of heading the Bihar Staff Selection Commission, which conducts recruitment for various government posts across the state.

The appointment has been made under the provisions of the Bihar Staff Selection Commission Act, 2002.

Additional Charge Relieved

With Ohatkar’s appointment, Additional Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar Chaudhary has been relieved of the additional charge of BSSC Chairperson.

He will now continue to discharge responsibilities related to his parent department.
