The State government has executed a major reshuffle within the police department, transferring ten Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. The orders were issued by Director General of Police Dr Jitender, an IPS officer of 1992 batch, on Monday.
As per the transfer details, several officers from the Greyhounds unit have been given new assignments.
ASP Kajal, an IPS officer of 2021 batch, has been transferred from the Greyhounds and posted as ASP of Utnoor in the Adilabad district. Similarly, ASP Kankanala Rahul Reddy, also an IPS officer of 2021 batch, will now serve as ASP at Bhongir in the Rachakonda Commissionerate.
In the latest reshuffle, other officers include S. Chitharanjan, an IPS officer of 2022, who has been posted as ASP of Asifabad in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district.
2022 batch IPS officer Bokka Chaitanya Reddy will now take on the role of ASP in Kamareddy. Pandere Chetan Nitin, also an IPS officer of 2022 batch, has been appointed as ASP of Jangoan in the Warangal Commissionerate.
Additionally, Vikrant Kumar Singh (RR:2022) has been posted as ASP of Bhadradri Kothagudem, where he will take over from Ankit Kumar Sankhwar (RR:2022), who has been transferred to report to the office of the Director General of Police.
In other postings, Nagrale Shubham Prakash (RR:2022) will be the new ASP of Karimnagar Rural in Karimnagar district, while Rajesh Meena (RR:2022) will serve as ASP in Nirmal. P. Mounika (RR:2022) has been appointed as ASP of Devarakonda in Nalgonda district.
These changes are part of the ongoing administrative restructuring by the state government aimed at strengthening the functioning of the police force across various districts.
