The Chief Minister of Telangana, Mr. A Revanth Reddy, has recently announced that his government would provide financial assistance of Rs. 1 Lakh to not only each youth who passed the UPSC CSE Preliminary Examination in 2024 and has been preparing for Mains but also to all those who cleared the Mains examination.
CM Reddy, while speaking at an event organised to distribute cheques of Rs 1 lakh each to over 130 youths who have qualified for the civil services main examination this year under the Rajiv Civil’s Abhaya Hastham scheme, divulged that his government has filled 30,000 vacant posts within 90 days of assuming office. They also said that they are currently in the process of recruiting an additional 35,000 persons and are setting up ‘Young India Skills University’ to provide skill training to the youth so that their employment opportunities can increase.
Mahindra Group’s Chairman, Mr. Anand Mahindra, has agreed to serve as the chairman of the new Skills University, whose board will be made up of top executives of major corporations.
