Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Thursday presided over the valedictory function of the 10-week training programme for All India Services (IAS, IPS, IFS) and Central Services officers at the MCRHRD Institute in Hyderabad.
Addressing the gathering, he emphasized that civil servants truly do justice to their stature only when people remember them not just as officers but as public servants.
Mr Vikramarka is currently serving as the 4th Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana since December 2023.
Serving Society with Courage and Compassion
Vikramarka urged the officers to approach their duties with integrity, take decisions courageously, and lead with compassion. “Every day, before leaving office, officers should ask themselves one question: Did my work today bring a positive change or dignity into someone’s life? If the answer is yes, then regardless of how difficult the day was, they can consider themselves successful,” he said.
A New Beginning of Responsibility and Trust
The Deputy Chief Minister highlighted that completing the rigorous training programme marks not just the end of a course, but the beginning of a new journey filled with responsibility, wisdom, and public trust.
203 Officers Celebrate Achievement
A total of 203 officers from various states successfully completed the course. Dy CM Bhatti noted that these officers arrived as engineers, doctors, economists, lawyers, and technical experts, and are now leaving with the highest level of recognition and respect. He added that numerous opportunities lie ahead of them, befitting their talent and qualifications.
Guiding Officers to Public Service Excellence
The valedictory programme underscored the importance of ethical governance, compassion-driven administration, and commitment to public welfare, setting the tone for these officers as they take on leadership roles across India.
