T S C Bosh Takes Charge as Director (Projects) at REC Limited | Know the Power Sector Veteran

New Delhi: T S C Bosh has officially assumed charge as the Director (Projects) of REC Limited, one of India’s premier Maharatna Public Sector Enterprises under the Ministry of Power. His appointment follows the approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on October 1, 2025, and a formal order issued by the Ministry of Power.

Bringing Over 35 Years of Experience to the Role

With a career spanning over three and a half decades in the power sector, T S C Bosh is regarded as a seasoned professional with deep domain expertise in project implementation, strategic planning, and infrastructure development. Prior to this elevation, Bosh held several senior leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer of REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited.

His leadership in the sector has been marked by strategic foresight and the ability to manage large-scale, complex operations, often involving multiple stakeholders across government and private sectors.

Driving National Electrification and Infrastructure Projects

Mr Bosh has played a pivotal role in implementing flagship electrification programmes of the Government of India. His efforts were especially significant in the successful rollout of – 

  • Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) – which electrified thousands of remote villages
  • Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana – Saubhagya – which aimed at achieving universal household electrification

These schemes have been instrumental in transforming India’s rural energy landscape, and Bosh’s leadership has been widely acknowledged in ensuring their effective execution.

Past Roles at REC and Contributions to Key Sectors

In his previous role as Executive Director (Engineering) at REC, Bosh spearheaded project evaluation, financing, and monitoring for major infrastructure ventures across:
