Patna: Union Bank of India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (JEEViKA), under the Rural Development Department, Government of Bihar, to improve access to credit for Self Help Groups (SHGs), Village Organisations (VOs) and Cluster Level Federations (CLFs) across the state.
The partnership aims to strengthen financial support for grassroots-level women-led community institutions and promote sustainable economic activities in rural areas.

The collaboration will help channel institutional credit more effectively to community institutions working at the village and cluster levels.
The key beneficiaries of the partnership include:
- Self Help Groups (SHGs)
- Village Organisations (VOs)
- Cluster Level Federations (CLFs)
