UP: 17 IPS Officers Reshuffled, Sudha Singh Made SSP, Jhansi

The government of Uttar Pradesh has recently transferred 17 IPS officers across the state. The transferees are:

Mr. Shalabh Mathur (2006 batch) has been transferred as Inspector General (IG) Establishment Headquarters, Director General of Police Lucknow. IPS Prabhakar Chaudhary (2010 batch) has been appointed the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police in Aligarh, moving from his previous position as the Director General of Police headquarters in Lucknow.

IPS Sudha Singh (2006 batch) became the Senior Superintendent of Police in Jhansi. IPS Rajesh S, last posted as the Senior Superintendent of Police in Jhansi, has been transferred to the Superintendent of Police in Shahjahanpur.

IPS Yashvir Singh has been designated as the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Rae Bareli, while IPS Ashok Kumar Meena will take charge as SP of Sonbhadra. IPS Krishna Kumar will assume the role of SP in Sambhal, and IPS Abhijit R Shankar will take charge as SP in Auraiya. IPS Palash Bansal has been posted as the SP of Mahoba in Uttar Pradesh.

IPS Siddharth Shankar Meena, last posted as SP of Unnao, has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Police at the Prayagraj Police Commissionerate. IPS Charu Nigam has been named the Commandant of the PAC in Ghaziabad. IPS Aparna Gupta, earlier posted as SP of Mahoba, has been transferred to the Lucknow Commissionerate as Deputy Commissioner of Police, and IPS Abhishek Kumar Agarwal has been assigned as the Deputy Commissioner of Police for the Agra Police Commissionerate. IPS Kuldeep Singh will move to the Prayagraj Police Commissionerate as Deputy Commissioner of Police.

Mr. Abhinav Tyagi (2019 batch) will serve as the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) for Gorakhpur City, and IPS Amrit Jain (2021 batch) will become the Additional Superintendent of Police for Aligarh Rural.
