In a recent development, it was informed that the dynamic IPS officer, Mr. Abhijeet R Shankar (2018 batch), shall receive the coveted Police Commendation Disc from Uttar Pradesh’s Director General of Police (DGP), Mr. Prashant Kumar (1990 batch IPS officer), in recognition of his phenomenal service in the state police department. Officer Shankar is presently posted as SP in the Lucknow Commissionerate.
This prestigious accolade is awarded to those police officers who demonstrate outstanding dedication and commitment to their duties. Officer Shankar’s contributions were acknowledged after he did a commendable job as a teenager locked himself in a room, and IPS Shankar commendably handled the situation.
