Uttarakhand : 4 IAS Officers Shifted In The Wake Of Haldwani violence.

Following the burd curdling violence in Uttarakhand’s Haldwani, the Pushkar Dhami government ordered a major bureaucratic shake-up on February 10th. In this process, four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officials and seven Provincial Civil Service (PCS) officials were reshuffled. 

The IAS officers who got transferred are :

Anand Vardhan (IAS-1992) has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary Personnel, while officer RK Sudhanshu (IAS-1997) was appointed as the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. Officer Shailesh Bagauli (IAS-2002) received the designation of secretary in the Home Department, and officer Sachin Kurve (IAS-2003) assumed charge as the secretary of the Revenue Department.

The transferred PCS officers:

Abhishek Tripathi was ordered to assume office as the Chief Development Officer at Tehri Garhwal, PCS officer Mahavir Singh Chauhan took charge as the Additional Secretary of Disaster Management. Officer Jai Bharat Singh was instructed to take charge as the Additional District Magistrate of Dehradun and Chandra Singh Imlal as the Additional Commissioner of Sugarcane in Kashipur. 

Chamoli gets its new Additional District Magistrate as Vivek Prakash assumes office. Pankaj Upadhyay took charge as the Additional District Magistrate of Udham Singh Nagar, while Ravindra Kumar became the district’s Deputy Collector.
