In an administrative reshuffle, the Uttarakhand government transferred and posted eight IPS officer including some DIG level officers. According to the order, Inspector General of Police, Kumaon Region, Nilesh Anand Bharne, has been made Inspector General of Police P&M. Whereas DIG Dr. Yogendra Singh Rawat has been assigned the responsibility of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Kumaon.
Dilip Singh Kunwar, who was holding the responsibility of Dehradun’s SSP and Deputy Inspector General of Police until now, has been notified as Deputy Inspector General of Police, while the command of Dehradun district has now been handed over to Ajay Singh.
Pramendra Doval has been made the new SSP of Haridwar and Rekha Yadav has been given the charge of SP of Chamoli. Prahlad Narayan Meena has been given the charge of SSP of Nainital district.
