Dehradun: The Uttarakhand government has appointed more than 30,000 young people to various government departments over the past four years, according to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The Chief Minister shared this information through a digital letter addressed to recently selected candidates in different recruitment examinations, highlighting the state’s ongoing large-scale hiring drive.
The announcement comes as part of the government’s continued focus on expanding employment opportunities for youth in government services across Uttarakhand.
Massive Recruitment Drive Across Government Departments
In his message, Chief Minister Dhami said that after forming the government again in 2022, a structured and large-scale recruitment campaign was launched to fill long-pending vacancies in multiple state departments.
He stated that the drive has already resulted in the appointment of over 30,000 candidates, and recruitment efforts are still ongoing. According to him, the objective has been to ensure that essential government positions are filled efficiently while creating stable job opportunities for educated youth.
