Uttarakhand Gets ₹451.63 Crore Special Assistance from Centre for Infrastructure Development Projects

Dehradun: The Central Government has approved the first instalment of ₹451.63 crore special assistance (loan) for Uttarakhand to accelerate infrastructure development and capital investment projects in the state.

The financial assistance has been sanctioned under the Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment for the current financial year. The funds will support various development initiatives, including roads, healthcare, education, drinking water, tourism, and other infrastructure projects.

₹451.63 Crore Assistance Approved for Uttarakhand Capital Projects

According to the approval order issued by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, the amount has been sanctioned under the untied fund category for approved capital projects in Uttarakhand.

The state government will utilise the funds according to the guidelines issued by the Central Government for infrastructure and capital development works.

The Chief Minister said that the Central Government has continuously supported Uttarakhand’s development initiatives and this financial assistance will further accelerate infrastructure growth in the state.
