VC sajjanar who has been serving as ADGP of Telangana is now appointed as managing director of Telangana State road transport corporation on Friday. Mr VC is a senior IPS officer of 1996 batch.
Mr Vishwanath Channappa Sajjanar is also the former police commissioner of cyberabad. During his tenure of three years, he worked so well to eliminate anti-social elements. He is known for his focus on issues of safety of women and children. In 2019 he took some important decisions in the famous ‘Disha’ case. He has also served as IG of Police (special intelligence). he is known for his works for community and citizen friendly policing, cyber crime and human trafficking.
Now as he is appointed the managing Director of TSRTC his focus is to restore the past glory of the corporation and on making it self reliant. “I have three goals in mind for tsrtc. First, I want to make the corporation self-reliant and focus on increasing its revenues. Second, we will work towards customer satisfaction as that is the most important aspect of any business and last I will be working extensively towards staff welfare. All efforts will be made to take care of our 40,000 employees including drivers, mechanics , conductors and managers”, Sajjanar said about his vision for the corporation.
