Gandhinagar: Gujarat is set to begin preparations for the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2027 with a curtain raiser at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on August 31. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will engage with leading industrialists, Heads of Missions and senior Government of India officials ahead of the global summit scheduled for January 10–12, 2027.
CM Patel to Hold Investor Meetings
The curtain raiser will provide Gujarat an opportunity to present its industrial strengths and investment opportunities ahead of VGGS 2027.
At Bharat Mandapam, CM Patel will hold one-on-one meetings with senior representatives of companies operating across major sectors. Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi will also participate in the industry interaction session.
The meetings will include companies such as TPREL, JSW MG Motor India, Schneider Electric India, DCM Shriram, Seoul Semiconductors, Shree Cement, LG Energy Solutions, JBM Group, Max Healthcare, Uno Minda, ACME Solar, AirTrunk, Mankind Pharma and others.
Focus on Key Growth Sectors
The discussions will cover a wide range of sectors that are central to Gujarat’s industrial and economic expansion.
These include renewable energy, automobiles, semiconductors and electronics, cement, infrastructure, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, railways, artificial intelligence, data centres, IT and BPM, chemicals and financial services.
The meetings will focus on potential investments, expansion plans and strategic partnerships between Gujarat and leading domestic and international companies.
Outreach to Missions and Government Officials
A separate interaction with Heads of Missions and senior Government of India officials will take place at Hotel Taj Palace in the evening.
The session is expected to strengthen Gujarat’s engagement with international stakeholders and highlight opportunities available to global investors.
The state will showcase its industrial ecosystem, infrastructure and investor-friendly policies while positioning itself as a destination for sustainable and technology-driven investment.
VGGS 2027 Summit in January
The curtain raiser comes after a high-level international delegation visit to the United States and Canada led by CM Bhupendra Patel.
The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2027 will be held from January 10 to 12, 2027. The New Delhi event will serve as an early platform for building investor interest and partnerships ahead of the main summit.
Gujarat’s focus on emerging sectors such as semiconductors, renewable energy, AI and data centres reflects the changing nature of global investment and technology.
