Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has decided to allocate a total of ₹28 crore as a special development grant for road and infrastructure projects in the constituencies represented by women legislators in the State Legislative Assembly.
The special grant, announced on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, will provide ₹2 crore each to 14 women MLAs for undertaking priority road and infrastructure development works in their respective constituencies.
₹2 Crore Each for 14 Women MLAs
Under the Chief Minister’s decision, all 14 women legislators will receive a special development grant of ₹2 crore each.
The beneficiaries include:
- Nine women MLAs representing urban constituencies
- Five women MLAs representing rural constituencies
The total allocation of ₹28 crore will be used to support development works based on the specific priority requirements of each constituency.
