Nagpur: The Nagpur Area of Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has achieved a major operational milestone by recording its highest-ever coal dispatch of 106.19 lakh tonnes in FY 2025–26, surpassing the previous record of 105.92 lakh tonnes set in the last financial year.

The achievement was accomplished with 18 days still remaining in the financial year, highlighting strong operational efficiency, effective logistics management, and the dedication of the workforce in the region.

Record-Breaking Coal Dispatch Performance

The new dispatch milestone reflects the consistent efforts of the Nagpur Area team in improving production planning and transportation efficiency. By exceeding the previous year’s record well before the end of the fiscal year, WCL has demonstrated its capability to maintain a stable and reliable coal supply chain.
