As part of the initiative, selected women entrepreneurs will also be given a platform to showcase their products at Bharat Mart in Dubai, a global B2B and B2C marketplace within the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza). This will enable them to access international buyers and scale their businesses globally.

This initiative reflects DP World’s commitment to inclusive trade and aligns with India’s vision of empowering women to play a central role in economic growth.

Public-Private Collaboration for Women-Led Development

“With this partnership, we aim to create an enabling environment where women entrepreneurs can grow, scale, and access global markets,” saidMr. B.V.R. Subrahmanyam, CEO, NITI Aayog. “By uniting efforts with DP World, we are strengthening the foundation for long-term impact.

Launched in 2018 and transitioned into a public-private partnership in 2022, WEP serves as a national aggregator platform to strengthen India’s women entrepreneurship ecosystem. With over 90,000 women entrepreneurs already on board and more than 47 partners from public and private sectors, WEP addresses six key ecosystem needs—access to finance, market linkages, training and skilling, mentoring and networking, compliance and legal support, and business development services.
