Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reiterated his government’s commitment to ensuring that no student is deprived of education due to financial constraints. Speaking during the Janata Darshan held at his official residence in Lucknow on Monday, the Chief Minister assured immediate support for a meritorious student facing financial difficulties and directed officials to ensure timely resolution of public grievances.
Financial Support for Meritorious Student Seeking Engineering Education
During the Janata Darshan, a student accompanied by her elderly mother informed the Chief Minister about her inability to pursue BTech studies due to financial hardship, despite scoring well in her Intermediate examinations.
Taking note of her academic performance, the Chief Minister encouraged her to continue her education and directed officials to secure her admission in a reputed engineering institution in Lucknow.
He assured that the government would ensure that no deserving or poor student is denied higher education due to lack of funds.
Strict Action Ordered on Police Negligence and Encroachment Complaints
Several citizens raised complaints related to alleged police negligence and illegal land encroachments during the public hearing.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to conduct impartial investigations and ensure strict action against those responsible. He emphasized that delays or negligence in grievance redressal would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
He also directed continuous monitoring of such cases and assured complainants of swift justice.

A wide range of grievances were presented during the Janata Darshan, including:

He noted that most issues can be resolved at the local level, reducing unnecessary travel and delays for citizens.

During the hearing, the Chief Minister personally intervened in several cases and contacted officials over the phone to expedite resolution.
He assured citizens seeking medical financial assistance that the government stands firmly with every needy person and that lack of funds will not become a barrier to treatment.

The Chief Minister regularly holds Janata Darshan sessions to directly interact with citizens and ensure prompt resolution of their problems. Officials present were instructed to prioritize time-bound and effective grievance redressal across all departments.
