With the evolution of social media, the world is becoming smaller and smaller. People from across the globe are coming together, knowing each other and finding friends on social media. And, stories of people finding love and partners through social media are coming every day. However, with this comes the risk of getting trapped with the wrong kind of people.
Identifying this issue, IPS officer Anjani Kumar has started a campaign to make people aware of this. Recently he posted a posted on social media cautioning people to be aware of honey trap. He said in his post that everyone should verify the identity before opening up with anybody on social media.
