As the world celebrates the special day dedicated to the magnificent cheetah, India’s only home to Cheetah, the Kuno National Park, is observing it with a video series showcasing the dedicated work of the heroes of cheetah conservation.
Be it a forest guard or a ranger, the Park is celebrating every human associated with the reintroduction of the cheetah in India, after it vanished from the country years ago.
These heroes have been selflessly working day and night to protect the cheetahs brought in from Africa a they try to acclimatise to their new home. On International Cheetah Day, Kuno National Park posted a video on one of the heroes, calling them all “unsung heroes working on the ground”. Needless to say, each one of them is playing a pivotal role in safeguarding the cheetahs in Kuno.
