Ganjam district of Odisha has bagged six awards under various categories in the National Panchayat Awards 2023. IAS officer Dheenah Dastageer posted about Ganjam receiving the awards on her social media.
The Awards are:
- Best District Panchayat Award in India
- Best Block Panchayat Award in India, Hinjilicut
- 2nd Best Clean & Green Panchayat Award in India, Sasan Ambagam, Hinjilicut
- 2nd Best Gram Urja Swaraj Vishesh Panchayat Puraskar, Ankuli, Patrapur
- 2nd Best Socially Secured Panchayat Award in India, Kulada, Bhanjanagar
- 2nd Best Healthy Panchayat Award in India, Kanchuru, Hinjilicut
