Heartwarming Leopard Rescue: IFS Officer Parveen Kaswan’s Team Returns Big Cat to the Wild

Indian Forest Service officer Parveen Kaswan (2015 batch) shared a touching video of his team rescuing and releasing a leopard back into its natural habitat. Posted on X, the video has captivated social media, earning widespread praise for the team’s efforts.

The clip, with over 24,000 views, shows the leopard secured in a cage on a truck near a dense forest. Moments later, the team carefully opens the cage, allowing the leopard to sprint into the wilderness.

In the caption, Officer Kaswan wrote, “Rescued this beautiful hunk by our team from human habitat. Back to the wild without any injury to human or animal.

Social media users applauded the team’s dedication. One user commented, “More power to you and your team, keep up the good work,” while another called the release, “‘Back to Wild’—the most soul-soothing words after a rescue. Congratulations to the team.

When asked why guards wore riot gear, Kaswan explained, “It’s a leopard. They attack. How will guards protect themselves without shields?
