In a candid and heartfelt social media post, Indian Forest Services (IFS) officer Himanshu Tyagi shared his personal journey of battling anxiety and provided insightful advice on how to transform it into a source of strength.
Reflecting on his own experience during his preparation for the IITJEE exam, Tyagi revealed that he was overwhelmed by anxiety, particularly exacerbated by a family issue, just two months before the exam. “I used to cry on the phone with my mother. I had to return home and take a break,” he shared.
However, Tyagi emphasized that anxiety is not inherently negative and can serve as a warning about potential dangers, as well as a reflection of our fears and insecurities. He stressed the importance of recognizing and addressing these insecurities by writing them down along with possible solutions.
