During his visit chef and entrepreneur from New York Mr. Eitan Bernath spent the day with ‘Green Delights’, which is Jeevika’s farm to fork retail initiative. Jeevika or Bihar Rural Livelihood Promotion Society is part of initiative taken under Rural Development department, Bihar to abolish poverty in rural areas.
Green Delights aims to create employment for rural woman in Bihar. These are kind of store which is present in all three form brick, mortar and online to reach directly to consumers. Both Bernath and IAS officer Rahul Kumar who is CEO, BRLPS and Commissioner MNREGA shared a video about the visit on social media.
