Following the recommendation of the Home Department, Chief Minister Manohar Lal has approved the proposal to promote two IPS officers of Haryana Police. Both the officers will be promoted from the rank of Deputy Inspector General to the rank of Inspector General after getting the approval of the CM. These officers include the names of 2005 batch IPS Manish Chowdhary and Kulwinder Singh.
IPS Kulwinder Singh has been proposed for promotion to the remaining one cadre post of Inspector General of Police (IGP) rank, while Manish Chowdhary’s name has been proposed for promotion under the category ‘Reserve Leave and Junior Post Reserve’.
