“You know who I am? ‘My father is so and so,” these lines are very common in our country, specially on traffic signals. Whenever someone is caught by the police for breaking law, he or she tries to use their or parents’ and relatives’ influence to get out of the situation.
A similar case came up in Lucknow, when the son of a judge threatened traffic police for towing away his car from a no-parking zone. However, this time, police didn’t budge from their duty and made sure the man paid the fine.
The video of that brat threatening police has been shared by IPS officer Archit Chandak, who is currently serving as DCP Nagpur. The officer shared his happiness that no police personnel succumbed to the pressure. He schooled the offender on ‘X’ saying, “You Mr, after hitting him, would first land behind bars u/s 353 IPC to deter the public servant from doing his lawful duty.”

The video is viral now and has been shared a thousand times. Many X users have praised the officer for not letting off the guy. A user wrote, “People like him must be taught a lesson. Nobody is above the law. Salute to the officer who has done his duty fearlessly.”
