Ranchi: Bank of Baroda organised a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme at S.S. Doranda High School, Ranchi, aimed at supporting girl students from economically underprivileged backgrounds. The initiative focused on providing essential resources and creating a more conducive environment for education and learning.
The programme was attended by senior Bank of Baroda officials, including Lal Singh, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda.
Bank of Baroda Supports Girl Students Through CSR Initiative
As part of the CSR programme, Bank of Baroda provided essential facilities and educational resources to support girl students across selected schools.
The initiative included the provision of filtered water coolers for 10 selected schools to improve access to safe drinking water for girl students.
In addition, school bags were distributed among girl students requiring support, helping them access essential educational materials and continue their studies with greater convenience.

Senior Bank Officials Attend the Programme
The CSR programme was graced by the presence of several senior officials from Bank of Baroda.
The officials present included:

- Sarat Kumar Panigrahi, General Manager & Zonal Head, Bhubaneswar Zone
- Neelmani, Deputy General Manager & Regional Head, Ranchi Region
- Swapnil Srivastava, Assistant General Manager & Deputy Regional Head, Ranchi Region
Other senior officials and employees of the bank also participated in the programme.
Focus on Education and Inclusive Community Development
The CSR initiative reflects Bank of Baroda’s focus on education, financial awareness and inclusive community development.
By providing basic infrastructure support and educational resources, the bank aims to create better learning conditions for girl students, particularly those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
