100 Candidates Mentored by IPS Officer Mahesh Bhagwat’s Team Get Selected in UPSC CSE 2021

Under the guidance and mentorship of IPS officer Mahesh Bhagwat, 100 candidates have been selected for the UPSC CSE 2021, out of a total of 685 aspirants. The 100 selected candidates include toppers from several states. The officer gives credit for this success to his fellow team members.

IPS officer Mahesh Murlidhar Bhagwat has always been a guiding light for aspirants who wish to crack Union Public Service Commission’s Civil Service Examination. His mentorship and guidance have helped hundreds of aspirants clear the examination with ease.

And this year was no different. In an exclusive conversation with Indian MastermindsMr. Bhagwat, who is the Police Commissioner of the Rachakonda region of Telangana, shared his happiness on seeing so many of his students clear the examination.

100/685 STUDENTS CLEARED

Where last year 131 candidates out of a total of 761 selected UPSC candidates were under his mentorship, this year, a total of 100 candidates mentored for personality test (interview) by the officer and his team have cracked the examination, out of the total 685 selected candidates.

Among the top 100 rankers, 16 candidates including 13th ranker Priyamvada Mhaddalkar from Maharashtra and 15th ranker C Yashwanth Reddy from Andhra Pradesh were trained by the officer and his team.

Similarly, over 83 candidates with ranks between 101 and 685 were mentored for interviews by him and his team. Candidates who got selections were from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, and West Bengal.

“HAPPY ABOUT THE RESULT”

Expressing his happiness, Mr. Bhagwat told Indian Masterminds, “I am very happy about this year’s result as I came across so many candidates from different states who achieved good ranks. For the first time, I have seen a candidate from Meghalaya, Ankur Das, AIR-52, getting selected in the top 100. He is probably the first person from Meghalaya to be in the top 100 of UPSC CSE. I am proud of all my students who worked hard to achieve such success.”

The topper of Telangana, Meghalaya, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra were all mentored under the officer’s guidance.

The officer is all praise for his team of mentors that have helped him in guiding the aspirants. He especially mentions Dr. Shailendra Deolankar, Nitish Pathode, Anand Patil, Supriya Devasthali, Nilkanth Avhad, Sameer Unhale, Rajeev Ranade, Vivek Kulkarni, Abhishek Saraf, Mukul Kulkarni IRS, Satish Patil, Pravin Ingawale and others for supporting Maharashtra group; Anudeep Durishetty, Sadhu Narsimha Reddy, P Srija, Neelkanth Avhad, and others for supporting Hyderabad and All India group.

“The credit goes to my entire team who was there by my side and helped me immensely,” said Mr. Bhagwat.
