With unwavering dedication, he delved into the intricacies of the examination, deciphering the nuances of question patterns and gleaning insights into the vast expanse of knowledge required for success.

The turning point came in his fifth attempt when he secured an All India Rank of 102, clinching IPS and his home cadre, Haryana. Post selection, Dr. Mohan underwent training at the prestigious Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), a crucible that shaped his transformation. Divided into three phases, the training encompassed a foundational course at LBSNAA, 11 months of Phase 1 at the academy, and a practical stint in various districts for District Practical Training (DPT).

“The rigorous training included an independent charge of a police station, state academy visits, and attachments with key administrative offices, fostering a holistic understanding of the responsibilities that come with the badge,” the officer shared with Indian Masterminds.
