The names of the officers are:
- Jamnagar SP Deepan Bhadran, a 2007 batch IPS officer, has been promoted as DIG and appointed as DIG Anti-Terrorist Squad, Ahmedabad.
- SP CID (Crime), Gandhinagar, Saurabh Tolumbia, also an IPS of the 2007 batch has been promoted as DIG on the same post.
- Zone III DCP Makarand Chauhan of the 2007 batch was promoted as DIG and appointed to the vacant post of Joint Director, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Ahmedabad.
- SP (Western Railways) Parixita Rathod, of 2007 batch, has been promoted and appointed to the vacant post of DIG, (CID (Crime), Gandhinagar.
- SP MT, Gandhinagar, D H Parmar, (2004 batch) has been promoted as DIG and will continue holding his post that has been upgraded to DIG.
- Also promoted is 2006 batch IPS officer M L Ninama and Superintendent, Central Jail, Surat (Lajpor). He will continue to be at the same post that has been upgraded to DIG.
- SRPF Commandant R M Pande of the 2007-batch has been promoted to the post of DIG and appointed on the vacant post as DIG (Armed Units), Vadodara.
