Nine IPS Officers shifted in Odisha, Arun Kumar Ray is ADG Communications, Lalit Das is ADG Hq

The Naveen Patnaik government has shifted nine senior IPS officers in the state. Some of them had recently returned from the Central deputation after completing maximum seven-years tenure.

Mr Arun Kumar Ray
  • Mr Arun Kumar Ray IPS (Odisha 1988) presently on repatriation from Central Deputation , has been appointed as  Additional Director General of Police(ADGP), Communication, Odisa.
Mr Lalit Das
  • Mr Lalit Das IPS (Odisha 1992) presently Additional Director General of Police(ADGP), Communication, Odisha, has been transferred as Additional Director General of Police(ADGP), Hdqrs, Odisha.
Mr YKM Jethwa
  • Mr Y K Jethwa IPS (Odisha 1994) presently on repatriation from Central Deputation , has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police(ADGP)- Law & Order, Odisha.
Ms Ritu Arora
  • Mrs Ritu Arora IPS (Odisha 1995) presently on repatriation from Central Deputation , has been appointed as OSD- Home Department, Odisha .
Ms Rekha Lohani
  • Mrs Rekha Lohani IPS (Odisha 1997) presently IGP- Modernisation, , Odisha, has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cutack. She had was earlier posted as IG (Modernisation and had returned to her parent cadre after completion of seven years of central deputation tenure only last year.
Mr Vinaytosh Mishra

Mr Lalit Das’s predecessor Mr Vinaytosh Mishra, a 1993 batch IPS officer, is appointed Director, State Crime Records Bureau while Sanjay Kumar Singh of 1996-batch has become IG, Modernisation. He has replaced the 1998-batch officer Rajesh Kumar who will now be the in-charge of State Forensic Science Laboratory while Anupama James, a 2013 batch officer has been shifted from SP Dhenkanal to Vigilance department as Superintendent of police.
