The Punjab government on Thursday transferred seven IPS officers. Gaurav Yadav goes as ADGP (Modernization) in place of Mr Ram Singh, who has been now posted as ADGP (Technical Services). Kuldeep Singh has been transferred and posted as ADGP (Internal Vigilance Cell) in place of Mr B. Chandra Sekhar and in addition Police Governance Reforms. Varinder Kumar has been posted as ADGP (Provisioning) in place of Mr Naresh Kumar who goes as ADGP (Law and Order) vice Mr Gaurav Yadav. SK Asthana has been transferred and posted as ADGP-cum-Director, Bol, vice Mr Varinder Kumar. Mr B Chandra Sekhar goes as ADGP (Human Rights) vice Mr S K Asthana and in addition charge of STF.
