Six Senior IPS Transferred in Delhi

IPS officer of 1996 batch, Mr. Jaspal Singh was posted as MD, Delhi Police Housing Corporation. Earlier he was holding the charge of Special CP, New Delhi Range.

On Thursday, Delhi Lt. Governor Mr. Anil Baijal issued an order regarding the transfer of 6 senior police officers. The LG has been forwarded his order to the Commissioner of Police Mr. Rakesh Asthana for necessary action.

The order states that four IPS officers and two Delhi, Andaman & Nicobar Islands cadre officers have been assigned new responsibilities. According to the order, the IPS officer of the 1996 batch Mr. Jaspal Singh has been posted as MD, Delhi Police Housing Corporation. Earlier he was holding the charge of Special CP, New Delhi Range. Whereas Special CP, Crime Mr. Alok Kumar has been transferred and posted to Provisioning and Logistics which comes under the Provisioning and Finance Division. While Mr. Manish Kumar Aggarwal has been posted to Protective Security Division. Earlier he was serving as Special CP, Traffic HQ. He replaced incumbent officer Mr. ID Shukla, who has been transferred to Goa as the DGP.

 Besides this, Ms. Shalini Singh has been posted to Welfare Department which is under the Human Resource Division. She is a 1996 batch senior IPS officer. Whereas Mr. Sukhraj Katewa has been transferred and posted as Additional DCP-II, Dwarka District. Earlier he was serving as Additional DCP, Security. While Mr. Satish Kumar has been posted as DCP/HQ-1, Welfare. Earlier he was posted as Additional DCP- II, Dwarka District.
