UP: 4 More IPS Officers Transferred, Ashish Gupta Made DGP, Rules and Manual

After the transfer of SPs (Superintendents of Police) of several districts and DIGs in UP on Friday, four more IPS officers have been transferred and posted by the Yogi Adityanath-led state government.

1989 batch senior IPS officer Ashish Gupta has been appointed as Director General of Police, Rules and Manual. He was waiting for posting.

Tanuja Srivastava, an IPS officer of 1990 batch, has been posted as Director General of Police, Special Investigation.

Similarly, 1998-batch IPS officer Padmaja Chauhan has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police, Fire and Emergency Services.

While 2008-batch IPS officer Rajeev Malhotra has been made Deputy Inspector General of Police, State Institute of Forensic Sciences.
