Two IAS officers transferred out of Chandigarh.

Two senior Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers have been transferred out of the Union Territory Chandigarh, on Tuesday.

The transfer of Mr. Sanjay Kumar Jha (IAS-2008 batch) was ordered by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Under Chandigarh administration, he is secretary, departments of animal husbandry and fisheries, public relations, personnel and stationery, cooperation, establishment, and agriculture.


The second IAS officer, Mr. Sachin Rana (IAS-2014 batch) has been transferred to Arunachal Pradesh. His area of work is departments of technical education and house allotment committee and special secretary. He is also holding the charge of additional deputy commissioner, additional registrar cooperative societies, and Red Cross society.
Subsequently, IAS Nikita Pawar (2012 batch) is transferred to UT Chandigarh from Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Another officer, IPS Ketan Bansal, has been ordered by the MHA to transfer from Mizoram to Chandigarh.
